20+ hours later we finally landed in India! What many people may not know is before this trip I was really afraid of airplanes. Every time I would think of traveling somewhere it sounded nice until I thought about the plane ride. The only place I would travel to recently is North Carolina to visit my family and even that couple hour ride was terrifying. My heart would race the whole time, I don't sleep no matter how tired I am and I would just feel uncomfortable until the airplane landed. So taking this trip to India was a BIG deal for me. I had to face one of my fears before I even left Miami - flying airplanes! But to my surprise, it really wasn't that bad. The flights were long and tiring but I got as comfortable as I could and mentally prepared myself weeks before this trip. I knew it was going to be a challenge but I was ready! Miami to Amsterdam to Bangalore then PHRI picked us up in a bus to Mysore (about a 5 hour ride).
